    Himachal Pradesh

    NIC Himachal Pradesh started its working and operations in 1988 by setting up offices at State Government and District Administrations levels. Later, NIC offices were set up at HP Vidhan Sabha, HP High Court, Chief Minister Office and MS Institute of Public Administration.

    State-of-the-art services for the design and development of secure SW Applications and Mobile Apps are being provided by NIC HP to support e-Gov Services and initiatives under Digital India Mission.

    National Projects Major product model applications like Covid-19 Sample Collection MIS, OxyCare (OCMIS), Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC) MIS, PM POSHAN, eHRMS – Human Resource Management System and PSC-Soft (Unified Solution for Public Service Commissions) have been developed by NIC HP and implemented in various States/UTs and Departments across the nation.

    State Projects In realizing the dream of bringing Governance closer to the Citizens, more than 55 Websites and 120 SW applications have been developed and being managed by NIC HP. The major initiatives include State Government Portal, Samgr Samadhan, Land Records Computerisation, IFMS (Integrated Financial Management System), Manav Sampada, eRozgar, HP APPP, Cooperation MIS, HP RERA, Rohtang Pass Permit, HimAtithi (Rest House Booking), PSC Soft, Schools Safety MIS, HP Large Dams Safety Analysis MIS, Online Hotel Reservation System, eGazette, eKalyan (Welfare Pensions), DEAS (Double Entry Accounting System), Works MIS, Elections, HimPragati and HP SDMF.

    Mobile Apps In realizing the Mobile First approach, NIC HP remained on the forefront for the development of the various G2G, G2C and G2E Mobile Apps. Being one of the four Mobile Competency Centres, capacity building support is being provided to all the NIC Offices across India. NIC’s Play Store account is also being managed by NIC HP and over 100 Mobile Apps have been developed and hosted across different platforms. The key apps developed for various other States/UTs and Organisations include RT-PCR, OxyCare, Rajya Sabha Debates, Janmanrega, PM POSHAN, eAwas, myCGHS etc. eOffice app is also being developed by NIC HP.

    Infrastructure & Consultancy NIC HP has also established a strong digital backbone comprising of Mini Data Centre, high speed NICNET Connectivity and Video Conferencing facilities. Over 31.5K Email IDs, 20 VC Studios and 23 NKN Nodes are being managed by NIC HP.

    ICT Support & Consultancy for technology adoption is also being provided to the State Government. In addition, various State level applications are being integrated with the National Projects using APIs. Microservices Architecture based SW development has also been taken up by NIC HP.

    Support to Central Projects Over 40 Central Projects have been implemented across the different user levels in the State. The key projects include Vahan, Sarathi, eCourts, NSP, IVFRT, MGNREGS, ePRI, NGDRS, PM KISAN, ICJS, S3WaaS, Service Plus, NeVA, DARPAN Dashboard, Jeevan Pramaan, AEBAS, PRAGATI, eSamiksha, eBaalNidan and eProcurement.

    Awards & Accolades NIC Himachal Pradesh’s digital journey has been recognized nationally and many prestigious awards including 9 National eGovernance Awards, 5 Digital India Awards, 7 CSI eGovernance Awards, 4 Gems of Digital India Awards and many other awards and recognitions at National level have been conferred on NIC HP projects. These achievements in themselves underscore the State’s leadership in e-Governance, transparency, and citizen-centric innovation.
