    Dadra And Nagar Haveli And Daman And Diu

    The UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is situated at the western coast of the country between Gujarat and Maharashtra State. The area of the UT is 602 KM2. The UT consists of three Districts. The NIC manpower strength is 8 (7 + SIO). DAMAN is the HQ of the UT.

    At the UT HQ, NIC has been providing various core services like video conference, NICNET, eMail, SMS, hosting etc in addition to the ICT support. The UT HQ has the 100 Mbps redundant lines through RailTel and BSNL for providing the smooth and hassle-free connectivity.

    The major National Projects implemented in the various sectors of the UT are VAHAN, SARATHI, iRAD, e-Challan, ATS, AePDS, RCMS, FPS Automation, e-Procurement, Realcraft, IVFRT etc.

    NIC is also coordinating in the implementation of CCTNS and integration of connecting applications like e-Sakshya, e-Prisons, MedLeapr, Nyay-Shruti, ICJS, CIS etc.

    NIC has developed Single Window Portal under the Ease of Doing Business umbrella to disseminate the services required to establish an Industry.

    Other major developments are Land Records Computerization, Document Registration, RBSK (Digital Health Record Management of Children), OJAS (Online Job Application System), Utility Billing for Water Supply, SUGAM (Citizen Services Portal), digiLocker integrated certificates.

    NIC is also providing the implementation support for National level portals like PM-Kisan, NSP, PFMS, Jeevan-Praaman etc.

    During General and Local Body Elections, NIC provides full ICT support like Polling Party management, EVM management, Portal Management, Manpower management, Counting etc. NIC is also coordinates the implementation of ECI applications.

    Other support provided are Cloud coordination, Website development and maintenance coordination, SMS services, ICT support during events and VVIP visits, Technical support in procuring the Hardware/Software, Conducting the computerized skill tests for various recruitments.

    NIC has secured National e-Governance Award under the ICT initiative category during the COVID period. The Digital School Health Program developed by NIC had been nominated for PM-Award 2023-24 and stood third with a space in coffee table book of PM Award 2023-24. Digital School Health Programme has been awarded the “Innovation Award 2024” by Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS), Centre of Administrative Staff College of India – Hyderabad. NIC DNHDD has also won the best performance award for e-Procurement utilization under small states and UT cadre in 2019.
