Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Taranjit Singh Sandhu, along with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, launched the Nursing Home Management System of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of NCT of Delhi. The Delhi government has announced a series of healthcare measures covering primary healthcare, newborn screening, nursing home regulation, and organ transplantation. One key initiative is the launch of the Nursing Home Management System portal, designed to provide an online platform for private nursing homes in Delhi for application registration and renewal. The system enables online submission of applications, uploading required documents, and managing registration-related processes while reducing the need for physical visits to government offices. The initiative is aimed at streamlining the administrative process, reducing paperwork, and improving the management of records related to nursing homes. It also seeks to provide the authorities with greater visibility and access to information on registered facilities while enhancing transparency. The system also provides a technology-enabled framework for monitoring and managing regulatory processes associated with private healthcare facilities.
