Vietnam Delegation Visits NIC National Data Centre, Shastri Park, New Delhi. A Vietnamese delegation comprising Major General Vu Van Tan, Director General, Police Department of Social Order Administrative Management, and Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Vinh, Deputy Director General, National Data Center, visited the NIC National Data Centre, Shastri Park, New Delhi. Shri Ashish Asthana, Deputy Director General, NIC, delivered a detailed presentation on NIC’s Data Centre infrastructure across India. Highlighting the MeghRaj Cloud infrastructure, he showcased how NIC is leveraging robust digital infrastructure and cloud technologies to enable e-Governance services across the country, reaching citizens at the grassroots level. The visit provided an opportunity to exchange insights on digital governance, data centre infrastructure and technology-driven public service delivery.

NIC Punjab organised a two-day training programme-cum-workshop for District Informatics Officers (DIOs) and District Informatics Associates (DIAs), focusing on strengthening knowledge, fostering innovation and promoting collaboration. The programme was inaugurated by Shri D.K. Tiwari, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Punjab, in the presence of Shri Priyank Bharti, IAS, Additional Secretary, MeitY & Director General, NIC. The workshop reinforced NIC’s commitment to empowering its field teams and driving impactful digital transformation across the State.

Advancing Transparent & Tamper-Proof Governance through Blockchain Technology. A workshop on Blockchain Technology was organised at NIC Hqrs. to create awareness on how Blockchain can make systems more transparent, secure and tamper-proof. The workshop featured the MeeBhoomi Blockchain Portal of Andhra Pradesh, showcasing the real-time use of Blockchain across stakeholders in land records management. The session provided valuable insights into leveraging Blockchain for innovative and secure NIC projects.

Empowering Data-Driven Governance!. A workshop on Visualisation and Analytics Services (ViAS) was organised at NIC Hqrs, New Delhi. Developed by NIC, ViAS enables Ministries, Departments & Organisations to collect, analyse and visualise aggregated data through interactive dashboards, supporting informed, data-driven governance.

‘Information Security and Risk Management’ was organised at NIC Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
Strengthening Cybersecurity Readiness!. A State Level Tech-Bootcamp on ‘Information Security and Risk Management’ was organised at NIC Odisha, Bhubaneswar. Around 100 officials from the Government of Odisha and NIC Odisha State Centre participated, fostering greater awareness and preparedness towards information security and risk management.

Building Secure Digital Solutions!. NIC Kerala State Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, organised a half-day session on ‘Secure Coding Practices’ for officers and technical manpower from NIC Kerala. The session emphasised the growing importance of cybersecurity and the need to integrate secure coding practices throughout the development, implementation, and maintenance lifecycle of software applications, promoting a strong security-by-design approach for building secure and resilient digital services.

Jan Parichay – One Identity, Many Services!. The National Informatics Centre (NIC), Uttarakhand State Unit, organized a one-day workshop on “Jan Parichay” Single Sign On (SSO) in Dehradun. Chief Guest Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, IT Secretary, Uttarakhand, inaugurated the workshop.More than 100 officials from various departments across the state participated in the workshop. All officials from NIC Uttarakhand and District Informatics Officers (DIOs) from various districts across the state were also present. The “Meri Pehchan” platform has over 3,000 projects connected to the public introduction platform, processing over 5.5 million transactions daily, and serving over 20 million users.

NIC Centre of Excellence on Microservices (NIC-CEM), Kochi, conducted a 3-day online RAPID Training on Microservices Architecture (MSA) for the NIC West Bengal State Team, strengthening technical capabilities and promoting modern software development practices for modernising Government applications.
