India–Vietnam Digital Partnership
At the Vietnam–India Innovation Forum held in New Delhi, Shri V.T.V. Ramana, Director General, NIC, presented “India–Vietnam Digital Partnership: Leveraging NIC Products for Shared Growth”. The presentation highlighted NIC’s GovTech platforms, Digital Public Infrastructure, cyber security capabilities and opportunities for bilateral collaboration.
Strengthening Public Procurement in Nagaland
Strengthening Public Procurement in Nagaland. NIC, in coordination with the Department of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Nagaland, conducted a one-day training session on the eProcurement and e-Tendering system. The session was held at the Directorate of IT & C, Thizama, Nagaland, and witnessed participation from officials representing 27 Departments of the State Government. The training provided comprehensive insights into the complete tendering lifecycle. The session aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding of standard procedures, compliance requirements, and key functionalities of the system.
NIC Madhya Pradesh delivered technical session
NIC Madhya Pradesh delivered technical session during the three-day residential training programme organised by MP Jal Nigam at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, Bhopal. The session trained Community Mobilizers on digital systems and the Panchayat Darpan Portal for effective coordination with Gram Panchayats and smooth implementation of water management systems. Key modules included the Citizen Service Portal, Gram Panchayat Tax Assessment & Billing System, and digital payment mechanisms, enhancing transparency, financial management, and citizen service delivery.
Strengthening Smart Urban Governance in Uttarakhand
Strengthening Smart Urban Governance in Uttarakhand. NIC Uttarakhand conducted a workshop on “Smart Solid Waste Management System” at the Directorate of Urban Development Department, Uttarakhand, with participation from Urban Local Bodies across the State. The workshop focused on technology-enabled solid waste management through hands-on training and demonstrations covering route & vehicle management, attendance monitoring, citizen-centric services, waste collection tracking, and analytical dashboards.
NIC and the Directorate of Health Services
NIC and the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur, jointly organised a one-day training programme on the MedLeaPR (𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠) Portal for medical professionals from across the state at the State Medical Board Room, Directorate of Health Services, Manipur. NIC officials presented the MedLeaPR application, highlighting its features, modules, and workflow, followed by a live demonstration of key functions such as case registration, medical opinions, case freezing, e-signing, and inter-institutional referrals.
Strengthening Road Accident Response in Manipur
Strengthening Road Accident Response in Manipur. NIC Manipur, in coordination with the Thoubal District Administration, conducted a training programme on the PM RAHAT (Prime Minister Road Accident Victims’ Hospitalization and Assured Treatment) Scheme at DC Complex, Thoubal. The programme focused on sensitizing stakeholders on the scheme’s implementation, hospital workflows, accident reporting, and integration of eDAR with the TMS application through live demonstrations. Senior officials from Police, Health, Transport, Highways, Hospitals, and DRM departments participated in the initiative.
NIC Strengthens PM RAHAT in Karnataka
NIC Strengthens PM RAHAT & eDAR Rollout in Karnataka. In collaboration with the Karnataka Police Department, NIC conducted statewide training programmes on PMRAHAT and eDAR system in May 2026. Led by District NIC Officers and Rollout Managers, the initiative has trained 1,134 police personnel across 25 Districts so far.
Digital Policing for a Safer and Smarter Bihar
Strengthening Digital Policing for a Safer and Smarter Bihar. NIC, in coordination with the Bihar Police, organized a State-Level Workshop on CCTNS CAS 1.0 for 343 newly established Police Stations across the State. The workshop focused on enabling the successful rollout of CCTNS CAS 1.0 and strengthening digital policing capabilities through expert sessions on the implementation roadmap, key functionalities, and best practices of the platform. The event was attended by Shri Ajitabh Kumar, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (SCRB & Modernization), Dr. Shailesh Kr. Shrivastava, Deputy Director General & State Informatics Officer, Bihar, and officials from Bihar Police, NCRB, SCRB, and NIC.
NIC presented the enhanced features of eMARG 2.0
NIC presented the enhanced features of eMARG 2.0 during the Regional Review Meetings (RRMs) of NRIDA held at Mumbai and Dharamshala in April 2026, with participation from multiple States/UTs and senior officials from NRIDA and State Rural Road Departments. eMARG is an enterprise e-Governance solution developed by NIC for the management of rural road maintenance monitoring under PMGSY. The platform is currently in use across 30 States/UTs for the maintenance of approximately 5 lakh km of rural road length.

A workshop on GenW.AI was successfully held at NIC Hqrs., New Delhi, bringing together industry experts and technology professionals to explore next-generation AI capabilities and enable smarter, more flexible, and citizen-centric digital solutions.
NIC, NeGD & CMGI: Driving Digital Governance in Odisha
NIC, NeGD, and Centre for Modernizing Government Initiatives (CMGI), Govt. of Odisha jointly organised a two-day State Level Awareness and Sensitization Workshop on User Experience (UX) Audit and Capacity Building in Bhubaneswar. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Surendra Kumar Meena, IAS, in the presence of Dr. Ashok Kumar Hota, DDG & SIO, NIC Odisha, and Shri Debabrata Nayak, Chief Technology Officer, DIC & Director, NeGD. The interactive event was aimed to sensitise Government officials to the importance of designing & developing citizen-centric approaches, enhancing user experience, and strengthening citizens’ trust in e-governance applications for effective public service delivery.

राष्ट्रीय सूचना-विज्ञान केंद्र, पटना कार्यालय का संसदीय राजभाषा समिति की द्वितीय उप-समिति द्वारा 14 मई, 2026 को राजभाषायी निरीक्षण सम्पन्न हुआ। निरीक्षण के दौरान समिति ने कार्यालय में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रयोग एवं कार्यान्वयन की समीक्षा की तथा संतोषजनक अनुपालन की सराहना करते हुए कार्यालय को प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किया।

Technology expert Mr. Deepak Bansal shared insights on VMware Cloud Foundation 9, sovereign cloud adoption, AI/ML-ready virtualization, and VMware Kubernetes Services, highlighting the future of secure and scalable private cloud infrastructure for eGovernance.
NIC Successfully Enables AIIMS Rishikesh Migration
NIC successfully enabled the migration of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh, from the existing e-Hospital system to the NextGen e-Hospital Application. This milestone marks a significant step towards strengthening digital healthcare delivery and modernizing hospital management through advanced, technology-driven healthcare solutions.

Smt. A.Sridevasena, IAS Commissioner of Technical Education, Telangana announced the result for Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) on May 23.Students appeared for the TS POLYCET on May 13, 2026 may check their results at the official website of SBTET ( https://www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in ), developed and maintained by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Telangana. Shri Guntuku Prasad, DDG & SIO, NIC and senior officials from NIC were present on the occasion.
