National Data Centre (NDC), North Eastern Region
- The state-of-the-art National Data Centre (NDC) for the North Eastern Region, a robust ICT backbone aimed at enabling faster adoption and effective implementation of e-Governance projects across all eight North Eastern States, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on 14 February 2026 at Amingaon, Guwahati.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Data Centre – North East Region on 14 February 2026 at Amingaon, District Kamrup, Assam.
The state-of-the-art data centre will host mission-critical applications of various government departments and function as a Disaster Recovery centre for other National Data Centres.
- Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah launched the State Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (S4C) dashboard of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), MHA, at the National Conference on “Tackling Cyber-Enabled Frauds & Dismantling the Ecosystem” in New Delhi. The dashboard will empower the State/UT Police to combat cyber-enabled crimes by providing real-time data insights.
- Hon’ble Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, launched India’s first programmable e-Rupee (Central Bank Digital Currency)- backed food grain disbursal system for the Gujarat Public Distribution System (PDS).
- Celebrating a milestone in India’s Biotech journey. On the 40th Foundation Day of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Hon’ble Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh launched the DBIM-compliant website of the Department of Biotechnology. Developed by NIC, this new website offers seamless navigation, is optimized for mobile, and is fully accessible—serving as a digital gateway to knowledge, collaboration, and opportunity.
- Hon’ble Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Shri Pralhad Joshi in the presence of Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Puducherry, Shri K. Kailashnathan and Hon’ble CM of Puducherry, Shri. N. Rangasamy, launched the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)-based Digital Food Currency pilot for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) in Puducherry. NIC played a crucial role in providing end-to-end technical support and integrating CBDC with the PDS system. It enabled beneficiary and merchant onboarding, and also supported eWallet access for smartphone and feature phone.
- Hon’ble Union Minister of Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, launched the NIC-developed RuralOneApp, powered by AI-enabled Digital Gram Sahayak, and the Digital Social Audit Platform for Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin.
- Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, in the presence of Hon’ble IT Minister, Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, and Hon’ble Education Minister Shri Ashish Sood, launched the CM Jansunwai Portal & Mobile App and the EWS/DG/CWSN Portal, designed & developed by NIC. Citizens of Delhi can now conveniently register complaints related to water, electricity, roads, sanitation, and other civic issues online through the mobile app or web portal. The EWS/DG/CWSN Admission Portal will further streamline and enhance transparency in the admission process for private schools, ensuring fair and equal opportunities for children.
- Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha launched Ama Sathi WhatsApp Bot — a platform delivering 150+ services on WhatsApp. Powered by robust backend integrations, NIC Odisha enabled real-time service delivery via APIs. Citizens can access certificates and key services without visiting Govt offices.
- Hon’ble Chief Minister, Manipur, Shri Yumnam Khemchand Singh, launched the Manipur Heli Service Portal, enabling online helicopter ticket booking across the State.
Developed by NIC, the platform offers easy ticket booking, secure payments & enhanced connectivity to remote areas.
- माननीय राजस्व एवं आपदा प्रबंधन मंत्री, छत्तीसगढ़ शासन श्री टंकराम वर्मा ने ऑटो-डाइवर्जन (पुनर्निर्धारण) सुविधा, तथा भुइयाँ व्हाट्सएप चैटबॉट का शुभारंभ किया। इस अभिनव डिजिटल पहल के माध्यम से छत्तीसगढ़ के नागरिक अब बिना किसी कागजी कार्रवाई एवं कार्यालय के चक्कर लगाए अपने भूमि उपयोग परिवर्तन के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकेंगे, साथ ही अपने मोबाइल फोन पर ही विभिन्न राजस्व सेवाओं की जानकारी भी सरलता से प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।
- डिजिटल किसान किताब – पारदर्शी रिकॉर्ड, सशक्त किसान!
माननीय राजस्व एवं आपदा प्रबंधन, पुनर्वास एवं उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री, छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार, श्री टैंक राम वर्मा ने ‘डिजिटल किसान किताब’ का शुभारंभ किया। यह डिजिटल किताब भूमि अभिलेखों के रिकॉर्ड को तीव्र, पारदर्शी और पूर्णतः डिजिटल प्रणाली से प्रतिस्थापित करती है। किसान अब अपनी भूमि का विवरण आसानी से ऑनलाइन देख सकते हैं, स्वचालित अपडेट प्राप्त कर सकते हैं और डिजिटल रूप से हस्ताक्षरित प्रमाणित प्रतियां भी डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। किसान किताब के बारे में अधिक जानकारी के लिए भुइयाँ पोर्टल पर जाएं।
- Hon’ble Minister of Law, Works & Excise, Govt. of Odisha, Shri Prithiviraj Harichandan launched the e-IB Portal to digitize PWD Inspection Bungalow bookings in Bhubaneswar, Puri & Konark.
- Hon’ble Education Minister of Meghalaya launched the online portals of Meghalaya State Higher Education Council and Meghalaya Private Universities Regulatory Board. Designed & developed by NIC, these portals aim to strengthen transparency, streamline governance, and enhance digital access to information and services across the higher education ecosystem in Meghalaya.
- Hon’ble Minister for Health, Family Welfare & Medical Education, Govt of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Satya Kumar Y, launched the Integrated AYUSH Web Portal. The Portal is designed to deliver AYUSH services online, including Doctor Registration (Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy & Naturopathy), Manufacturing Licenses for AYUSH products, and Store/Shop Licenses.
- उत्तर प्रदेश में किसानों को समयबद्ध व सुलभ कृषि परामर्श सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराने हेतु, क्रॉप वेदर वॉच ग्रुप के वेब पोर्टल का शुभारंभ उत्तर प्रदेश कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद के महानिदेशक द्वारा किया गया।
NIC द्वारा विकसित यह पोर्टल कृषि विभाग के मौसम आधारित फसल परामर्श किसानों तक पहुंचाएगा। यह डिजिटल पहल समयबद्ध, फसल-विशिष्ट मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करेगी और किसानों को सूचित निर्णय लेने में सक्षम बनाएगी।
- Driving Arunachal Pradesh toward a smarter, faster, and paperless healthcare future. MedLEaPR Post-Mortem Examination Request Form launched in 6 District Hospitals & TRIHMS of Arunachal Pradesh by the Commissioner, Health & Family Welfare, Shri Pawan Kumar Sain (IAS). MedLEaPR is a secure and integrated platform developed by NIC Haryana for online medico-legal and post-mortem reporting.
