    • A significant milestone for NIC!
      NIC successfully facilitated the video conference of the Hon’ble Prime Minister with Indian Astronaut Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, in collaboration with NASA.
      This achievement reflects NIC’s continued commitment to providing robust and secure ICT support for high-level communications, furthering the vision of Digital India.

    • In the presence of Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Puducherry, Hon’ble CM Puducherry, and other dignitaries, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs launched the National e-Vidhan Application (#NeVA) for the Puducherry Legislative Assembly.
      #NeVA is a workflow-based system by NIC, that helps the Chair of the House to conduct House proceedings smoothly, Hon’ble Members to carry out their duties in the House efficiently, and to conduct Legislative Business of the House in a Paperless manner.

    • Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Affairs, Agriculture Development & Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Ramvichar Netam, Govt of Chhattisgarh, launched the Hostel Management Web Application for the Tribal Development Department of the State.

      Shri Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary, Chhattisgarh, Shri Sonmoni Borah, Principal Secretary, Tribal Development, and Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to the CM were present on the occasion.

      Developed by NIC, this robust digital platform will enhance accountability and efficiency in managing tribal hostels across the State.

    • Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat launched the XGN 2.0 portal for the Gujarat Pollution Control Board during a function on World Environment Day in Gandhinagar.
      Developed by NIC, XGN (Extended Green Node) is an e-Governance tool designed to streamline the issuance of Consent Orders and Authorizations under the Air and Water Acts.
      XGN 2.0 is set to enhance compliance, transparency, and accountability across industries — reflecting the State’s commitment to sustainable development and effective environmental governance.

    • Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Chandigarh UT, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria in the presence of Chief Secretary, Shri Rajeev Verma, IAS, launched the School Management Information System (SMIS) for integration of digital technologies in Govt schools of the State.
      SMIS is an application suite developed by NIC to manage and streamline the academic, administrative, and financial operations of a school or educational institution through digitalization.

    • eLabharthi Portal is a centralized DBT platform integrated with PFMS and developed by NIC to ensure transparency & timely delivery of benefits.
      It facilitated the disbursement of ₹271.15 crore by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar, under the Social Security Pension Scheme and the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

    • छत्तीसगढ़ में मुख्यमंत्री नोनी बाबू मेधावी शिक्षा सहायता योजना के अंतर्गत पंजीकृत श्रमिकों के मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को ₹1,00,000 (प्रति छात्र) की प्रोत्साहन राशि का वितरण डायरेक्ट बेनिफिट ट्रांसफर (DBT) के माध्यम से किया गया। यह वितरण https://shramevjayate.cg.gov.in पोर्टल के माध्यम से माननीय मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा संपन्न किया गया।

      The Municipal Corporation of Patiala has launched the e-Nigam Digital MC House, a landmark initiative aimed at transitioning to a completely digital and paperless governance system.
      The e-Nigam platform will streamline administrative procedures and enhance service delivery for the citizens of Patiala, setting a benchmark for digital governance across the State.

    • Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra launched eCabinet at the Mantralaya, Mumbai. eCabinet is a digital platform developed by NIC that enables streamlined planning of cabinet meetings, easy access to reference materials, efficient implementation of decisions, and real-time monitoring — all through a single digital interface.
      This initiative represents a significant move toward digital governance, creating institutional memory.

    • The Sugarcane Mechanization Scheme of Bihar has gone digital!
      Hon’ble Minister of the Sugarcane Industries Department, Government of Bihar, has launched an online portal – http://sugarcanemech.bihar.gov.in – to streamline access to the Sugarcane Mechanization Scheme.
      Developed by NIC, this digital platform makes the application process simpler, more transparent & highly efficient.
      Farmers and beneficiaries can now apply online for subsidies and assistance under the scheme—anytime, anywhere!

    • Hon’ble Minister of Social Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya, in the presence of Chairperson, MSCPCR, and other dignitaries, launched the revamped website of the Meghalaya State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MSCPCR), at NIC Meghalaya, Shillong.
      The newly redesigned website, developed by NIC Meghalaya, aims to enhance user experience and improve access to resources and information related to child rights and protection in the State.

    • Shri K. Moses Chalai, IAS, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), GoI, launched the Public Enterprises Survey 2024–25, marking yet another significant step in enhancing transparency, data integrity, and governance across Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).
      NIC in coordination with DPE, developed a dynamic & user-centric survey platform for the collection and compilation of vital physical & financial data from the CPSEs and their Holding & Subsidiary Companies.

      To enforce the ban on Single Use Plastics in Himachal Pradesh, NIC and the DEST & CC HP have launched the ‘Banned SUP eChallanHP’ App. It allows Authorities to issue instant challans, and Violations can pay fine on the spot using payment gateways.
