National Informatics Centre (NIC) provides nationwide ICT infrastructure to support e-Governance and Digital India initiatives. It develops software and services to enhance government service delivery across all States/UTs and Districts. Key Services/Infrastructure includes high speed NICNET & NKN connectivity, National Government Cloud, National Data Center, Center of Excellence Services in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Application Security, Gigabit LAN, GIS, Multipoint Video Conferencing, Secure Mail Messaging, AEBAS, Cyber Security, Webcast and Promotion of ICT initiatives at Grass Root Level for efficient e-Governance etc.
NIC Madhya Pradesh “The Cyber Gateway of Tiger State” established in 1988 in Bhopal to support e-Governance and ICT services across the state. NIC MPSC having multiple 10Gbps Backbone connectivity and 34/100/1000 Mbps Edge NICNET connectivity with 51 DHQ, High Speed NKN connectivity at 75 Institutions/Organizations of GoI/GoMP, OFC based Inter-Bhawans connectivity to Cater 10,000+ Nodes Bhawans LAN including Secretariat and Legislative Assembly. Majority of GoMP HoD Departments including SWAN and SDC are using NICNET/NKN connectivity for High Speed Internet Access and other ICT Services.
NIC MP State Center contributes significantly in Software Design /Development/Implementation for State-level and Central e-governance projects. Over 40 major projects are successfully implemented in state. It supports state government by providing consultancy and assistance in the rollout of various ICT projects, significantly enhancing service delivery and administrative efficiency. NIC Madhya Pradesh has also taken initiative in m-Governance by designing, developing and rolling out of mobile applications for spanning G2C, G2E, G2B, and G2G domains, ensuring wider reach and seamless digital service delivery across Android, Windows, and Apple platforms.
NIC State and District Centers work closely with Government departments to automate and streamline governance processes with automation.
All 55 District websites, 10 Divisional websites and NIC MP State portal are hosted on the S3WaaS platform, ensuring accessible digital governance across the state. Establishment of National Data Centre (NDC) of NIC at Bhopal, an initiative by MeitY, GoI is under process.
NIC Madhya Pradesh has empowered a large number of Government officials through its capacity building programs on various e-Governance Projects across the Madhya Pradesh state.
Various projects of NIC Madhya Pradesh have been honored with prestigious International, national awards and State awards reflecting its leadership in digital governance and innovation including UN Award, Platinum Skoch Award, CSI SIG eGovernance Awards and the ET Government PSU Leadership Awards, amongst others.
Flagship projects such as eDistrict, eMARG, GeoReach, GePMC, eMandi, eAnugya, eMandi, eAnugya, eOffice and the MP Farm Gate App have been nationally recognized for their transformative impact on public service delivery, infrastructure management and administrative efficiency across the state.
