NIC West Bengal State Centre
Director General, NIC, Shri Priyank Bharti, accompanied by Shri V. T. V. Ramana, DDG, and Shri Ashish Vikram Asthana, DDG, visited NIC West Bengal State Centre and reviewed key projects including National Port Projects, Annapurna, Social Registry, West Bengal Just-in-Time (WBJIT) System for SNA-SPARSH, Unified Project Management System, SAMARTH (One Umbrella Social Pension) , Election Manpower Management System (EMMS), delivering eGovernance and citizen services in the State.
The delegation also visited the iNOC and NIC Data Centre at Nizam Palace, Kolkata, to assess the AI, network, and data centre infrastructure.
National Government Cloud (NGC) MeghRaj 2.0
A significant milestone in strengthening India’s digital public infrastructure. The Department of Posts, NIC, and NICSI signed an MoU of Rs. 444.36 Crore to host the Advanced Postal Technology (APT) application on the National Government Cloud (NGC) MeghRaj 2.0. Hosting APT on MeghRaj 2.0 will support seamless operations across India’s extensive postal network while accelerating the Govt’s vision of digital transformation and cloud-first governance. As the technology partner of the Govt of India, NIC continues to play a pivotal role in delivering secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure, enabling critical government services to operate efficiently across the nation.

A technical session on ‘AI Adversarial Threats’ was held at NIC Hqrs., New Delhi. Technology experts shared insights on Mythos-class models, a new category of AI-powered cyber capability that can significantly increase the speed, scale and automation of cyber operations. Participants gained a clear understanding on AI adoption and associated security challenges, risk management strategies, and practical testing methodologies to support informed decision-making.
Workshop on ShaktiDB
A Half-Day Workshop on ShaktiDB: An Indigenous Database Solution was held at NIC Headquarters, New Delhi. IT experts from IITM Pravartak shared insights on ShaktiDB’s architecture and capabilities, conducted a live demonstration, and engaged participants through an interactive Q&A session, highlighting the potential of indigenous database technologies in strengthening India’s digital ecosystem.

Driving the future of intelligent public enterprises. Ms. Sharmistha Dasgupta, DDG, NIC, and Mr. Alok Kumar Tiwari, MD, NICSI, participated in the panel discussion on “AI-Powered Enterprises: Building Data-driven and Intelligent PSUs” at the National PSU Summit 2026 in New Delhi. The session brought together distinguished speakers to exchange insights on leveraging AI, data-driven strategies, and digital innovation to accelerate transformation across Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
राजभाषा समिति की द्वितीय उप-समिति द्वारा एनआईसी उत्तराखण्ड का निरीक्षण किया गया।
राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रगामी प्रयोग एवं कार्यान्वयन के अंतर्गत दिनांक 22 जून 2026 को राजभाषा समिति की द्वितीय उप-समिति द्वारा एनआईसी उत्तराखण्ड का निरीक्षण किया गया। इस दौरान राज्य सूचना विज्ञान अधिकारी ने राजभाषा हिंदी के उपयोग एवं संबंधित गतिविधियों की जानकारी प्रस्तुत की। निरीक्षण उपरांत माननीय समिति द्वारा एनआईसी उत्तराखण्ड को निरीक्षण प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किया गया।
National Workshop on AISHE Data Quality Enhancement in New Delhi
The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, GoI, organised the National Workshop on AISHE Data Quality Enhancement in New Delhi. The workshop brought together the State & University Nodal Officers, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders. DoHE unit of NIC showcased AISHE portal enhancements focused on improving data quality, validation, and reporting for timely, accurate, and reliable data to support evidence-based higher education planning.

NIC conducted a Cyber Security Awareness session at the Ministry of Cooperation, New Delhi, under the guidance of Secretary Shri Ashish Kumar Bhutani and JS-cum-CISO Shri Anand Kumar Jha. The NIC team led by Ms. Anupam Srivastava highlighted emerging cyber threats, digital arrest scams, phishing, malware, and best practices to safeguard Government data and digital assets.

लखनऊ में आयोजित डिजिटल ट्रांसफॉर्मेशन एवं साइबर सुरक्षित उत्तर प्रदेश सम्मेलन में एनआईसी उत्तर प्रदेश के डीडीजी एवं एसआईओ श्री आशेष अग्रवाल ने सहभागिता की।

Workshop on Strengthening Cyber Security Framework
Workshop on Strengthening Cyber Security Framework for State Data, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. In collaboration with NIC, the Government of Chhattisgarh is strengthening cyber resilience through four strategic initiatives: Zero Trust Architecture, a 24×7 AI-driven Security Operations Center (SOC) with CERT-In, mandatory compliance audits for data center hosting, and continuous cyber hygiene training for Government employees. Shri Tej Narayan Singh, State Informatics Officer, NIC Chhattisgarh, shared key insights on strengthening cyber resilience during the workshop.

एनआईसी, हैदराबाद केंद्र में “आचरण नियम” विषय पर अर्धदिवसीय राजभाषा हिंदी कार्यशाला का सफल आयोजन किया गया। श्री गुंटुकु प्रसाद, उप महानिदेशक एवं एसआईओ, तेलंगाना की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित इस कार्यशाला में एनआईसी अधिकारियों ने आचरण नियमों के पालन एवं आधिकारिक कार्यों में हिंदी के व्यावहारिक उपयोग के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला तथा हिंदी के प्रभावी प्रयोग को बढ़ावा देने का संदेश दिया।

Strengthening Digital Healthcare in J&K . NIC, in collaboration with the National Health Mission (NHM), J&K, conducted one-day capacity-building programmes in Srinagar and Jammu on the NextGen e-Hospital System. Hands-on training covered key modules including patient registration, appointment scheduling, OPD/IPD management, clinical workflows, hospital administration, and digital records management – advancing efficient and technology-enabled healthcare delivery.

Capacity Building on IVFRT Modules in Manipur. NIC Manipur, in collaboration with the Home Department, Govt. of Manipur, conducted a training programme for DCs and SPs at the New Civil Secretariat, Imphal. The session covered key IVFRT modules, including Foreigners’ Identification Portal, PAP Issuance, Citizenship, District Police, and Look Out Circulars, strengthening administrative efficiency and coordination.

Advancing eGovernance Across Northeast India. NIC organized an interactive session on eOffice and Digital Governance for 44 Assam Civil Service (ACS) Officer Trainees at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati. The session focused on the concepts, benefits, implementation strategies, and practical applications of eOffice for enhancing efficiency, transparency, and governance in public administration.

e-Office Training Conducted at SSB 59th Battalion, Nanpara, Bahraich, UP. Officials from NIC Bahraich provided hands-on training on effective utilization of eOffice platform, covering e-file management, online workflow processes, and key aspects of administrative digitization.
Manipur Advances Medico-Legal Reporting with MedLEaPR
Manipur Advances Medico-Legal Reporting with MedLEaPR. NIC, in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services, Manipur, conducted a training programme for Doctors and Medical Officers on the MedLEaPR Portal at Lamphelpat, Imphal. NIC officials demonstrated key features, including case registration, medical opinion modules, e-signing, expert opinion, and integration with the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems, to strengthen and streamline medico-legal and post-mortem reporting processes.

‘स्वस्थ तन, शांत मन’ विषय पर एनआईसी मुख्यालय, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रेरणादायी कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। विशेषज्ञों ने शारीरिक एवं मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाए रखने के लिए विभिन्न व्यायाम, योग एवं रिलैक्सेशन तकनीकों का लाइव प्रदर्शन किया। साथ ही, उन्होंने तनाव प्रबंधन, सही दिनचर्या और स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने के व्यावहारिक उपाय साझा किए। कार्यशाला ने प्रतिभागियों को कार्यस्थल पर बेहतर स्वास्थ्य, संतुलित जीवन और सकारात्मक मानसिकता बनाए रखने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
