Built by NIC within the e-Prisons platform. Piloted at Central Jail Agra and District Jail Lucknow.

    Transforming Access to Justice with AI. Hon’ble CJI Justice Surya Kant announced the launch of “SuSahayak”, an AI-powered assistance chatbot integrated with the Supreme Court website to make justice delivery more accessible and citizen-friendly. Developed by the National Informatics Centre in collaboration with the Supreme Court of India Registry, SuSahayak offers a simple and convenient interface for litigants and citizens to access front-end guidance and essential Supreme Court services with ease. A significant step towards leveraging technology for transparent, efficient, and inclusive justice delivery.

    NIC-powered computerized draw ensures fair selection for Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2026. Hon’ble External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar conducted the computerized draw for Kailash Manasarovar Yatra2026 on 21 May 2026 in New Delhi. Developed by NIC, the system enabled a transparent, random, and gender-balanced selection process, through which 1,000 applicants were selected for the pilgrimage scheduled from June to August 2026. Selected applicants have been notified via SMS and email.

    बिहार के माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री सम्राट चौधरी ने राज्य में सहयोग शिविर से संबंधित ‘सहयोग पोर्टल’ एवं ‘हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1100’ का शुभारंभ किया। सहयोग पोर्टल बिहार सरकार के लिए एनआईसी द्वारा विकसित एक रियल टाइम मॉनिटरिंग सिस्टम है, जो जनता की शिकायतों के समयबद्ध, पारदर्शी एवं जवाबदेहीपूर्ण निवारण को सुनिश्चित करने हेतु तैयार किया गया केंद्रीकृत डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म है। इस पोर्टल के माध्यम से नागरिक ऑनलाइन शिकायत दर्ज कर सकते हैं, शिकायत की स्थिति की जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं, अनुस्मारक भेज सकते हैं तथा अपनी प्रतिक्रिया भी साझा कर सकते हैं।

    Hon’ble Finance Minister of Punjab, Shri Harpal Singh Cheema, launched the Unified Sanction Management System (USMS), aimed at improving financial management, transparency, and accountability across State Government Departments. Developed by NIC in coordination with the Treasury & Accounts Department of Punjab, this digital platform will bring uniformity to sanction formats and reduce procedural inconsistencies and clerical errors related to account heads, scheme mapping, and beneficiary details through automated validation mechanisms.

    Cyber security in Jammu & Kashmir

    Cyber security in Jammu & Kashmir has received a major boost. Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, IAS, inaugurated the J&K Security Operations Centre (JK-SOC) in the august presence of NIC Director General Shri V.T.V. Ramana. On the occasion, Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Shaleen Kabra, IAS; Principal Secretary (Home) Chandraker Bharti, IAS; Commissioner Secretary (IT) Piyush Singla, IAS; and SIO J&K Jaskaran Singh Modi, along with senior officials from NIC and the Information Technology Department of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, were present. The JK-SOC aims to establish a centralized and coordinated cyber security framework for the Government of Jammu & Kashmir. It will play a vital role in 24×7 monitoring, timely threat detection, rapid response, and mitigation of cyber risks.

    Hon’ble Justice Dr. Sambuddha Chakrabarti inaugurated the website of the West Bengal Taxation Tribunal, developed by NIC and integrated with the Court Case Monitoring & Information System, further strengthening the ongoing digital transformation of the judiciary. The platform facilitates e-filing, real-time case tracking, dynamic cause list generation, and online order management through a secure workflow-based system with role-based access. This initiative strengthens transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in justice delivery for citizens and stakeholders.

    A leap towards smarter governance in Meghalaya. Shri Rajesh Ranjan, Accountant General (A&E), Meghalaya, in the presence of Shri Swapnil Tembe, IAS, Secretary (Finance-Pension), Govt. of Meghalaya, launched the Online GPF Application Module on the e-GPF portal. The new module enables State Government employees to seamlessly submit applications online for final withdrawal and other GPF services, eliminating paperwork, reducing processing time, and enhancing transparency & efficiency.
