- Shri Abhishek Singh, Addl. Secretary, MeitY, DG, NIC & CEO, India AI Mission delivered a special address at the AI Impact Summit pre-event “Shaping AI Impact in the Financial Sector” held today, at Bharat Ratnam, Mumbai. He highlighted the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in strengthening India’s financial ecosystem, driving innovation, ensuring security, and enabling citizen-centric digital services.
- Strengthening Partnership for ICT-Enabled Public Service Delivery.
A Kenya delegation headed by H.E. Ms. Mercy Wanjau, Secretary to the Cabinet of the Republic of Kenya, visited NIC Hqrs. and held discussions with Dr. Rajesh Kumar Pathak, DDG, NIC and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation in the ICT sector.
- Shri Shashi Kant Sharma and Shri Shubhendu Kumar, DDGs of NIC presented digital solutions — NextGen #eHospital, Inter operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) and eOffice (Digital Workplace Solution) instrumental in advancing e-Governance and ensuring efficient & transparent citizen service delivery across all levels.
- Exploring AI for Smarter Agriculture!
Director, IIT Ropar, Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, chaired a review meeting on Artificial Intelligence use cases in the Agriculture domain, focusing on leveraging AI-driven innovations to enhance efficiency and productivity in the sector. A team from NIC, led by Shri P.K. Mittal, DDG, NIC, and Mr Anindya Banerjee, Advisor, DoAFW attended the meeting and reviewed the progress on the AI applications being piloted by the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar for the agriculture ecosystem.
- The National Summit on Accessibility in Sports & Tourism, organized by Svayam, focused on advancing inclusive and accessible public spaces, sports facilities and tourism services. Shri Prashant Kumar Mittal, Deputy Director General, NIC, delivered the Keynote Address, highlighting accessibility as a core element of Viksit Bharat 2047 and NIC’s continued commitment to accessible digital governance.
- A special talk held on the use of AI, Digital Sovereignty, and Workforce Re-Mixing-how do you take historically human based workforce and mix it up with a technology-led workforce, by Mr. David Furlonger, Subject Specialist and Vice President, Gartner at NIC HQs. NIC officers from various Ministries and State Centers participated via Video Conferencing.
- The Training Division of NIC Hqrs conducted a one-day training session on Rashtriya Karmayogi — a large-scale Jan Seva program for Central Government employees aimed at instilling a spirit of Seva Bhaav. Master Trainers of the program from NIC Delhi conducted live, hands-on session for NIC officials.
- Rashtriya Karmayogi पहल के अंतर्गत, आज NIC मुख्यालय में अधिकारियों के लिए एक प्रशिक्षण सत्र आयोजित किया गया।
एनआईसी दिल्ली के मास्टर ट्रेनर्स ने अधिकारियों के लिए व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण सत्र का संचालन किया, जिससे सेवा भाव की भावना तथा सेवा-उन्मुख शासन की दृष्टि को सुदृढ़ किया गया।
- एनआईसी मुख्यालय, नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय कर्मयोगी पर लाइव हैंड्स-ऑन सत्र आयोजित। मिशन कर्मयोगी का उद्देश्य सिविल सेवाओं की क्षमता बढ़ाकर शासन को बेहतर बनाना है। यह पहल नियम-आधारित व्यवस्था से आगे बढ़ते हुए एक सक्षम, जवाबदेह और नागरिक-केंद्रित प्रशासन के निर्माण को बढ़ावा देती है।
- Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jana Seva Program was successfully conducted for NIC officials from Haryana and Chandigarh (UT). Master Trainers from both regions facilitated an interactive, hands-on workshop for participating officers and staff, guiding them through real-life service scenarios and collaborative exercises.
The session laid strong emphasis on nurturing Seva Bhaav encouraging participants to embrace empathy, responsiveness, and a citizen-first mindset in work.
- Recognizing the growing need for digital safety and responsible cyber behaviour, a ‘Cyber Hygiene & Cyber Security Awareness Seminar’ to promote safe online practices and highlight modern cyber threats was conducted by NIC Jharkhand, focusing on strengthening awareness across government offices.
The session highlighted essential preventive measures to protect sensitive government data and citizen information.
This initiative was a part of NIC’s ongoing efforts to foster a secure, resilient, and vigilant digital environment within the Government of India ecosystem.
- Under the Rashtriya Karmayogi initiative, NIC conducted live, hands-on sessions for NIC officials at its Headquarters, strengthening their skills and fostering a deeper sense of Sewa Bhav in delivering citizen-centric digital services.

Empowering Governance through Karmayogis!
The Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jana Seva Program was successfully conducted for officials of NIC Meghalaya in Shillong. With the vision of transforming every Government employee into a Karmayogi for Sewa, the program was received with great enthusiasm and active participation. It fostered teamwork, collaborative learning, and encouraged participants to think innovatively to solve real-world governance challenges.
- सरकारी कार्यों में हिंदी भाषा के उपयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र (NIC), मेघालय ने 21 नवंबर 2025 को अपना तृतीय हिंदी कार्यशाला आयोजित किया। कार्यशाला की अध्यक्षता राज्य सूचना अधिकारी (SIO) श्री संतोष वी.टी. ने की। कार्यशाला में स्रोत वक्ता प्रोफेसर पार्थ सारथी पांडे, क्षेत्रीय निदेशक, केंद्रीय हिंदी संस्थान, शिलांग ने दैनिक प्रशासनिक कार्यों में हिंदी के उपयोग को बढ़ाने पर महत्वपूर्ण मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया। प्रतिभागियों ने चर्चा में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया और सरकारी कार्यों में हिंदी के उपयोग से संबंधित विभिन्न बिंदुओं पर अपनी शंकाओं का समाधान प्राप्त किया।
