Nirmala Sitharaman launched Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal GSTAT and unveiled the GSTAT eCourts Portal, enabling taxpayers & practitioners to file appeals online, track the progress of cases, and participate in hearings through digital mode.

    • Major eGovernance Milestone in Andhra Pradesh!

      Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh launched two transformative initiatives of the Andhra Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) to promote transparency and public service delivery:
      1️⃣ Live Streaming of Commission Hearings – Enhancing openness, accountability, and citizen trust.
      2️⃣ APIC Official Website https://sic.ap.gov.in – Developed by National Informatics Centre, Andhra Pradesh, the portal strengthens proactive disclosure and ensures seamless access to Commission services.

    • Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, launched several NIC-developed digital services for the Transport Department, Government of Manipur:

      🔹Starbus Manipur – Web & mobile-based platform for seamless booking of Manipur State Transport (MST) buses with secure online payments, accessible anytime, anywhere.

      🔹6 Faceless Services on SARATHI Portal – Online facilities for Learner License application & issuance, changes in photo, signature, biometrics, date of birth in Driving License, and DL extract provisioning—making processes faster, contactless, and transparent.

      🔹e-Auction of Fancy Numbers – A digital platform enabling citizens to bid for special/fancy vehicle registration numbers in a fair and transparent manner.

      These initiatives mark a significant step towards citizen-centric, transparent, and technology-driven transport services in State.

    • On Vishwakarma Jayanti and Silver Jubilee of the state, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh deposited an amount of ₹2,06,72,570 in the accounts of workers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) using Shramev Jayate Portal.

      Shramev Jayate portal aims to safeguard the economic and social interests of workers through various labor initiatives.

    • Taking a major step towards digital transformation and inclusive Governance, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh launched the Post Matric Scholarship Portal. On this occasion, a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)–based benefit transfer system for tribal students was also introduced.

      Designed and developed by NIC Chhattisgarh, the PMS-MIS Portal is a comprehensive digital platform for scholarship management, aimed at ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in student welfare services.

    • As part of the Ente Bhoomi Digital Survey Programme of the Directorate of Survey and Land Records, Government of Kerala, a state-of-the-art kiosk was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Revenue Minister of Kerala for the online distribution of survey records.

      The kiosk provides a user-friendly interface for citizens to purchase digitally surveyed maps and land records. Citizens can also access the Ente Bhoomi Portal developed by NIC to make online payments and download maps and records conveniently.

    • Lekhpal Dashboard – A new initiative by the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Board to enhance transparency and efficiency in Governance.

      Shri Anil Kumar, IAS, Honorable Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Board, launched the Lekhpal Dashboard.

      🔹Developed by NIC UP, the dashboard will maintain a complete record of the Lekhpal’s tasks.
      🔹It will support effective task monitoring by clearly displaying pending tasks, completed tasks, and all ongoing tasks.

      Hon’ble Chairman appreciated the efforts of the NIC UP team for the smooth and successful implementation of the dashboard in a short span of time.

    • Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court launched key digital initiatives, including eOffice, Virtual Courts, and a newly redesigned Court website to improve transparency, accessibility, and efficiency for legal professionals, litigants, and the public.

      With this step towards a paperless and tech-enabled judiciary, the High Court reaffirms its commitment to building a more connected, transparent, and innovative judicial system in Chhattisgarh.

    • Streamlining legal workflows in Government Departments!

      Hon’ble Chief Justice of Patna High Court launched the CCMS Mobile Application to enhance the management of court cases, ensuring timely compliance and disposal to resolve disputes and benefit litigants.

      The CCMS application empowers stakeholders to seamlessly track court cases, strengthen inter-departmental coordination, and take timely action—ultimately reducing pendency and promoting stronger legal compliance.

    • Chairman, Coal India Limited, inaugurated COALRR – Consolidation of Accountable Land, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Portal, developed by NIC. The portal is a pioneering step towards digitizing land records for coal mining operations.

      With GIS-based mapping, it enables better monitoring & approvals, while empowering Project Affected Families and nominees to easily claim their benefits. By enhancing transparency & accessibility, COALRR brings greater ease to landowners, displaced families and all stakeholders.

    • Taking steps towards AI-driven Governance in Odisha!

      Smt. Anu Garg, IAS, Development Commissioner & Additional Chief Secretary, Planning & Convergence & Water Resources Departments, inaugurated a Tech-Boot Camp on “Empowering Governance through AI” in the presence of NIC officials.

      At the Tech Boot Camp, a brochure showcasing AI-driven projects developed by NIC was released, the newly renovated training center of NIC Odisha was inaugurated in Bhubaneswar, and a special AI workshop was organized for over 100 senior officials from the Central & State Governments.

    • The eOffice system is being rolled out to enhance efficiency, transparency, and timeliness in Durg Administration.

      A two-day training program was conducted at the Commissioner Office, Durg Division to familiarize officers and staff with workflow, utility, and technical aspects of the platform.

      The session covered file management, e-noting, e-dispatch, and document tracking through live demos to enable a transition from paper-based files to a fully digital system.
