- Primarily intended for specific groups of individuals, the BH number is currently limited to Indian citizens who are employed by the Central or State Government or work in private organizations having offices in four or more States.

- With seamless interstate movement, simplified documentation, flexible road tax payment, and other user-friendly features, vehicle owners with BH (Bharat) series numbers are not required to transfer their vehicle registration when relocating from one State to another.
