ServicePlus is a versatile and robust framework developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to facilitate the efficient delivery of government services to citizens, businesses, and other stakeholders. It is a unified, service-oriented platform designed to streamline service delivery, reduce administrative overheads, and promote transparency.
ServicePlus has made significant strides in the realm of government services, with a total of around 4000 services# on offer, facilitating a diverse range of public needs. In terms of financial transactions, it has impressively collected a revenue of more than 35 Billion# Rupees. The platform has also been instrumental in disbursing Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) payments, with a substantial sum of 6 Billion# rupees being successfully channelled through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). The platform has garnered a considerable 255 million applications, attesting to its widespread usage and utility. Furthermore, ServicePlus has fostered collaboration across the nation, with a participation from 36 States/UTs, 18 Central Departments and UIDAI. ServicePlus stands as a transformative solution poised to redefine service delivery paradigms. With its focus on accessibility, efficiency, and transparency, the platform is poised to revolutionise governance by bridging the gap between citizens and services.
